Iowa State cyclones represent Iowa state University, in NCAA Division I. The Cyclones are one of the founding members of Big 112 Conference. Cy the Cardinal is the mascot of Iowa State University.

In the United States, 24, 22, 18, 14, and 10 karat gold are the only karats allowed to be sold as karated gold.
