The sporty Nivada Grenchen Aviator Sea Diver Chronograph 9989-8222 is one of the best watches to come out of the 60's. With a 38mm case this model was released with a manual wind Valjoux 92 movement. Some say the 1960's and 1970's was the best era for sport watches and this Sea Diver backs that claim. This tool watch is outfitted with a bidirectional rotating bezel, tachymeter scale, and regatta timer.

The case has light normal wear especially from being from the 60's. The dial is still a nice matte black and hands are in great shape with lume intact and scratches on metal. The crystal is in great shape as well. The movement was serviced in 2021 and is running strong.
