Note that all of the black is fully intact and strong in the numbers on the bezel (a few of our photos make it look like it isn't.)
The black and silver so-called Panda dial give it a nice look. And the luminous is beautifully toned.
It is fully original and in beautiful condition - it presents as a 9.4 or 9.5 out of 10.
Our Master Watchmaker has fully serviced the watch which consists of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, replacing any overly worn components, reassembling and lubricating the movement, replacing all of the seals, and extensive timing testing and regulation (a $595 value).
It continues to keep time virtually on par with a new Speedy, maintaining chronometer grade accuracy in three testing positions.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
Omega Speedmaster:
In 1957, Omega unveiled a chronograph that was a true technological marvel, the Speedmaster. Its durability and accuracy would not only win it accolades around the world and the distinction of being the first watch to be worn on the moon, it would accomplish something far more important, guiding the crew of Apollo 13 safely back home after their malfunctioning electronic systems had shut down.
The Speedmaster is one of the few truly iconic chronograph watches.
