This is a very special Seiko Original Automatic watch to pay homage to a great Japanese product designer, Mr. Riki Watanabe, a pioneer of Japanese design. He contributed greatly to the development of the industry, including participating in the founding of the Japan Industrial Designers Association.

Mr. Watanabe worked on a wide range of projects including products and interiors, and also had a deep knowledge of watches, producing over hundreds of wristwatches. The case of this special model makes use of the soft form that is a characteristic of Watanabe's product designs. The Arabic numerals are written in the "Didoni" font and are slightly larger, reflecting a simple and elegant style that enhances the vintage feeling. 

The dial and belt adopted a traditional Japanese color "koi-ai," giving it a smart impression that goes well with any outfit. This is the perfect time-piece that allows the wearer to enjoy the romantic moments that only a mechanical watch can provide, as time ticks away gracefully on your wrist.
